About
Ami graduated from the University of Oxford with a First Class Degree and a Gibbs Prize for top performance in Philosophy Papers among her cohort. She is beginning her MPhil in Philosophy at Cambridge this year, focusing on the Philosophy of Language, Logic, and Aesthetics.
With over 8 years of tutoring experience, Ami has taught a variety of age groups and students of different learning types. She believes that true academic excellence is grounded in a deep understanding of the material, and thus focuses on enhancing the student's fundamentals alongside developing key exam techniques.
Although Ami is going on to pursue her academic dreams in Philosophy, she has more years of tutoring experience in Mathematics, and is ready to take on students wanting support from either subject, or even better, both!
What students say
“Everything about Tao was first class, from the first free consultation with Leo right the way through to the day of the TMUA. They were professional and down to earth, and the alignment with the right tutor, Ami, was spot on! The free taster session was when I knew I had found exactly what we needed. Quick to sort schedules out, and just as quick when they needed to change. I would highly recommend Tao to anyone who needs bespoke tutoring.”
