About
Emmie read Medicine at Magdalen College, University of Oxford, graduating with a BA in Medical Sciences and a BMBCh. She now works as an NHS doctor in Manchester and is a keen advocate for accessible medical education.
Over the last two years, Emmie has led a Lessons Learnt programme that brings together the clinical and non-clinical sides of medical practice through real-life scenarios. Through it she has coached healthcare-specific communication skills, problem solving and professionalism in a way that inspires progress.
She teaches both prospective and current medical students. As a practising doctor with a strong scientific grounding, she is well placed to support students at every stage, from GCSE and A-Level through to medical school admissions and interview preparation.
Her admissions tutoring is designed to give students a realistic understanding of the process, and the confidence to think clearly under pressure.
