About
Leo read Physics at The Queen's College, University of Oxford, graduating with a First Class BSc. He is currently in the first year of a PhD in High Energy Physics at University College London, where his research sits at the cutting edge of the field.
Leo is the co-founder of Tao Education, established alongside his sister Emily on the principle that exceptional one-to-one teaching is the single greatest determinant of student outcomes.
As a tutor, Leo specialises in GCSE and A-Level Physics, Maths, and Further Maths. He has extensive experience coaching students for university admissions, with particular expertise in Oxbridge Physics Admissions Test preparation and interview techniques. His teaching approach is deeply conceptual, building from first principles rather than drilling technique, producing students who can think independently rather than simply recall.
