Summer Breen-Levine

Summer graduated from Clare College, University of Cambridge, in Biological Natural Sciences, specialising in Pathology, and is now in the fourth year of her Veterinary Medicine degree, due to qualify in 2029. She has been tutoring for over five years and has worked with students across a wide range of abilities.

What she loves most about tutoring is watching students improve and come to genuinely believe in themselves. She has seen students go from unsure to confidently tackling questions, which she finds extremely rewarding. She also knows how overwhelming and complicated the Oxbridge admissions process can be, and enjoys helping students navigate it, not least because it means getting to talk to them about university-level scientific ideas.

Outside of academics, Summer plays tennis and competes in athletics at university level. She took up pole vaulting at university and it has quickly become a key part of her life. She is also heavily involved in the University's Veterinary and Biology societies. Her claim to fame is having gone to the same college, and taken the same degree, as David Attenborough.
